One of the most solid, balanced, and interpretively successful versions I've heard of this extremely difficult study, Kobayashi manages to foreground the character of the piece without making a spectacular, empty technical exhibitionism.

@@phucngo2324 Yup, I can play the piece haha. It’s really just an opinion, you should stop taking it so personally. It’s not like she’s bad, it’s just not an outstanding performance of the piece.
@shangjiang542 жыл бұрын
As someone who has played the piece, I can say with certainty that it lacks inner voicing during the first page. If you are able to notice the actually lack of voicing in the first page (which is very rare unless you have played the piece), it is likely that you have actually played the piece before. I am currently learning it with my teacher and inner voicing was one of the first things she taught me with this piece. You should not be so quick to pass judgement towards others. Especially if you have no knowledge about their actual background.

Okay performance. Needed to be louder at times, and you slowed down sometimes in poor ta, particularly in the sections where the right hand is going up and down in quick succession, which the score, as followed by the most celebrated performances, clearly indicate are supposed to be played at the same tempo as the initial section of the right following the introduction of the piece.
