This video does havve many good concepts when aiming that most people don't think about. What I have found that WORKS on cut shots is to use the eye for whatever direction the object ball is going. For example if you are cutting a ball towards the left use your LEFT EYE and if your cutting a shot to the right use your RIGHT EYE. You will find that your percentage of making shots will improve. Like anything else this does take some practice, but is very effective.

I have run the gammut of aiming systems, recently even the systems like SVB's Edge of the Ferrell, etc... I have to say, for me, your part #1 and part #2 on this subject has been the best. Once I understood this concept, my ball pocketing has been more consistent , and easier to apply. The one concept to add to this, is ball speed and the Contact Induced Friction principle which Tor Lowry also has spoken of. Many Thanks...

I watched your video earlier this year. It got me interested because for the longest time I have been finding a way to be more precise in my pocketing skills. Then just a week ago, a coach told me that when you make a shot, eyesight can deceive you into missing the shot. So what he advised was to close my eyes and to my amazement, if I align up properly for a shot, practice stroke and execute mechanically with my eyes shut, there is a good chance of making a ball with consistency.

This video is great. It made me realize my sight line has been non-parallel to the stick line in all the years i've been playing!

And as of a few days, I have made a number of shots with my eyes closed during releasing the shot. Thanks for your videos.

Hi. Thanks that was educational as I have been playing the game for years and only read from snooker books without the verbal explanation. I believe I am a fairly good player but am sure from that short video my game is going to improve quite a bit more. Thank you.

Why not show Center to Edge? It teaches players to really learn one shot and you never have to sight a ball to a pocket.

Both of your videos are okay but why not show people how to pivot with Center to Edge? With CTE, every shot is the same. You dont have to learn all the fractions and math in the second part of your series.

LOL your comment indicates you are young. The expression "the best thing since sliced bread" has nothing to do with what bread tastes like. It refers to the change from a time before bread could be purchased sliced. I.e. it was always whole and had to be sliced at home. Then a machine was invented that allowed for the packaging and sale of bread pre-sliced. In other words, a good thing. Cheers.
