The simple solution is to settle on your favorite and just shoot it. Buy more LT frames and use them to experiment with different bands and pouches. There are lots of great 90mm frames out there so buy one of those to experiment with. If you feel the need. I have 30+ frames. But when I settled on the Scout LT exclusively, my accuracy vastly improved. It hurts to see all those expensive frames just sit in a bag but my confidence and fun was boosted. I now shoot a Scout LT , Simpleshot 5/16 bandsets black, and PGN Bearing 3/8 clay ammo from Amazon. 3000 for $20. I have never shot better in years.

I made my very own TOP SECRET slingshot and its revolutionary i think cause its fully adjustable..FULLY ADJUSTABLE... From fork width, hight, and more.. im a mechanic so im into simplicity, longevity and most of all FUNCTIONALITY. its super compact and can actually fold all up if u want it to.. ive lost way too many patents stolen in my life cause i like to share ideas i guess. But to be honest. Time i get paid.. so hopefully nobody done what ive done and soon everyone can have one. Like a keychain but one that can kill stuff from a distance

This video pertains to those who use the "face anchor" style of shooting. The purpose of the wrist-sling/tether is to hang the slingshot from a hook ----------------NOT. Seriously though (as if a THWACK! can ever be serious) - Beautiful dogs. (Jealous) Great big yard. (Jealous) EXCELLENT presentation, with enjoyable humor (well, ok, MY demented mind enjoys it) each to his/her/it's own... For you "Butterfly style" shooters, the ONLY compensation adjustment would be how far you need to elongate or shorten the bands when you draw. The further the taget, the further you pull. Keep your frame on target and your anchor (band just under the eye) the same for every shot. Many thanks for helping the newcomers, and those who are not new, but "kinda stuck in a rut". THWACK!

@@usernamemykel right on Tater! Thanks for the commentary! Appreciate you!👊🙏😂

do you know why your suitable fork width is 9cm? because the distance between your eye cornea and your anchor point is 4.5 cm . for me this distance is 5cm so i use 10 cm fork width if i want to have my fork corner as an aiming point . so when you use 8cm fork you have to lover your aiming point just 0.5 cm . this is all about aiming geometry. two 90 degree triangles make a rectangle so we need the smaller side of this rectangle which is our eye to chick distance .
@chriscraft12452 жыл бұрын
Just out of curiosity and I will ask others the same question. if you could have only one slingshot which one would you pick? Kinda like Hitchcock45 does a set of videos “which gun would be the last one I would sell?”
@canvandal45032 жыл бұрын
Scout LT. I think bang for buck it is the best all-around slingshot on the market.
@chriscraft12452 жыл бұрын
Thanks for answering. Yes I really like the LT. we probably all fall into this category we have multiple frames. But that certain one always finds it’s way to the top.

Hey Bro - excellent explanation, as always. Don’t trad archers refer to this as gap shooting? Speaking of trad archers - how about a vid on “instinctive aiming?”
@canvandal45032 жыл бұрын
Thanks brother! Instinctive shooting would be a great video! As a kid, that is the only way I knew how to shoot a slingshot. Great suggestions brother!👊🙏
@marctull35962 жыл бұрын
@@canvandal4503 you are welcome, bro! Instinctive is a good skill to have. Doesn’t Nathan Masters shoot instinctively? I think that Joerg does as well (except when he is launching power saw blades or Birkenstock shoes - then I am pretty sure he uses reference point aiming.) I have a slingshot made by Perry Adkisson of A+ Slingshots that is designed for instinctive shooting. How can I “show you its features?”
