One of my favorite part from DBS was how the show handle the character interaction. It was handled so much better and it got some of the best slice of life moments too. It's like a perfect combination between original DB goofy and fun moment with DBZ over the top battle.

Even though the TV show (mostly) follows the same story as the movie, the whole scene of Beerus enjoying himself at the party is very different between the two versions. TV's got the octopus shenanigans and lots of side-characters accidentally escalating things, while the movie goes for a memorable dance scene and a badly thought-out 'stunt'.

One thing has always confused me about the interaction between Beerus and Buu is how does Beerus not know who Buu is? Buu literally wiped out 3 of the Supreme Kai's from Beerus' own universe. He was only asleep for 39 years. Even if he was asleep while Buu was active originally, did he not think to question the disappearance of his Supreme Kai counterparts? Considering the actual connection between the Supreme Kai and him (spoiler avoid). Heck. Even Frieza knew who Buu was.
