There’s a rib . There is a couple companies that make a rig to connect to your rib.

It is not good for shotgun shooting because lead distance will confuse .

I cant fathom reason for this if your not looking at the dot then whats its purpose...doesn't add up

it doesn;t mean that you dont see the dot but rather you dont focus on it

If you want to know what using a red dot is like, watch some shotkam videos. This is similar to what you see. You look through the sight like you look through your nose. Your brain fills in the obstruction with the picture from the other eye, but the red dot stays nice and sharp, no matter how far away you look, and remains an accurate reference point for the end of the barrel, even if your eye is not perfectly lined up with it.

Horse spit. We don't want to look at the bead but it's good to look at a red dot? Aimpoint red dot sights are a magnificent sight on rifles or handguns. I own and recommend them.They have no business on a sporting shotgun. This is another example of someone who doesn't want to learn how to shoot replacing that process with technology.

I disagree. I believe it’s a great product in low light conditions for a wrong eye dominant shooters. Only very accomplished shooters. will shoot it well because they can point a shotgun. Aimers will never find the target.

Have you ever shot with a red dot, on any firearm, while it is occluded?

Why wouldn't the advantages of a red dot on a rifle or handgun (being able to target focus, especially on moving targets) translate to shotgunning?
