I mean you wouldn't believe how many Grimdark fanfictions were inspired by just that one scene of Pinkie Pie having a mental breakdown. As for "Best Night Ever" it was very interesting to finally see what the Grand Galloping Gala was like, Though it wasn't all that big of a surprise to learn that it wasn't at all what the Mane 6 expected.
