Is DBD the only asymmetrical game that has any kind of staying power? I really enjoyed Evolve, but it didn’t last long. This game looks cool but every game ended the same way, so I can see how it died off fast. That being said, I’d definitely watch more regulation vids of it.

The devs of DBD did a good job of making it feel fresh with constant updates with new monsters. I just don’t see how you can do that with predator because the monster always has to be a predator, pretty same-y. Maybe they could add a xenomorph, but that is assuming they could get the IP

Dbd only has staying power because of the iconic horror characters they're able to get, trust me the game would've died years ago if it weren't Michael Myers back in 2016 (ironically I never knew about the game's existence til they added Myers) otherwise the gameplay is incredibly stale once you play it for years for both survivor and killer, the smash bros of horror games if you will is what I like to call it. Friday 13, Evil Dead and TCM easily all had more fun gameplay but they all fell off (Friday got unlucky with that damn lawsuit) because they all relied on one property while again DBD relies on many properties which always bring more eyes to the game from casuals
