Ainz's Perfect Warrior spell is a nod to an actual D&D spell called Tenser's Transformation. It turns casters into warriors in terms of stats and equipment restrictions, but without any of the associated skills, buffs or passives. Something used only as a last resort for any proper mage. The thing that distracted Shalltear at the end was Aura using a taunt skill.

ainz is a perfect example of insane skill+P2W. He was the player to be able to cast the most spells in the game over double the normal cap of 300 and mastered delay magic(about 5% of players could do that) but also spends a shit load of money on the gatch system which gave him some very powerful items like wish upon a star but god-level items can't be bought they are so rare that it says you are very lucky to even have one piece. World items are so rare that there were 200 of them and I think around 50 or something was ever found during the life of the game and Ainz (the guild)had the most out of all the players having 11 of them. one of which is actually his throne. it was a prize for defeating the tomb(when it was a dungeon) on the guild's first try. Also if you love a game so much like Ainz you would spend money on it. maybe not as much as Ainz but you would.

I actually played WoW religiously but never bought anything (like Gold or carries). I ended up becoming one of those "Gold KZbinrs" who had the currency cap multiple times over, buying trading card game items for currency cap and whatnot. So, I actually wouldn't, unless the items were only available for real-life money, in which case I would leave the game (like SWTOR) which funnily enough died due to pay-to-win being a thing and most people leaving making servers literally empty. I ended up having end-game items, for the final bosses in the hardest difficulty of raids while people were trying to do the first boss on normal mode. At those times I could x2 shot people in PVP before they balanced it. Again. No money, just no life.

The point I was making is that you can make fun for someone for being p2w but you cant talk if they have the skill to back how much time they spent in the game. but you muct be very unhealthily addicted to a game to spend as much as ainz did(but guess it was worth now :/)

@@NinjaKumaReacts In one of the games I play, a mobile game called Idle Heroes, people buy in game items all the time. Each week people can spend hundreds on events for items. In fact, one super-rare item sold in the Auction House for the equivalent of $20,000 USD. I know ones who regularly spend thousands every month on the game. Course, one bought a house for $2 million USD. So, spending a few thousand on the game each month wouldn't be as breaking of the bank as it would to most of us. Yes, in this game, Pay to Win is exactly that. If you spend enough, you'll win. I'm always Free to Play. I can't afford to spend money on the game. Still, if people have the extra money for it and want to spend it on the game to get joy out of it, more power to them.

the eye you saw at the end that stopped shaltear for a second was an ability casted by aura the dark elf girl she uses breath to cast things like confuse and paralize and in this case distract shaltear so she couldnt land a hit that might have stopped ains casting, you also saw this during hamsukes capture aura used her breath casting to provoke hamsuke out of hher cave... oh yeah the hamster is female by the way

11:04 to be fair cash shop items only offer small conveniences in comparison to world items. To describe how powerful a world item is not only do they have enough data to equal that of an entire game server (thus the reason why they are called world items they have enough power of an entire world), but in this new world it is greatly speculated that hundreds of years ago some player characters that came to this world prior to ainz’s appearance used a world item to fundamentally change the foundation of the new world to allow new world residents to use YGGDRASIL style magic. This is likely the answer to ainz’s question back in episode 4 as to how the slane theocracy soldiers were using YGGDRASIL magic and YGGDRASIL summons.

Also an important note: Lord "Touch Me" is meant to be "Touch Me If You Can". The anime delves very little into the other supreme beings, but Touch Me was a World Champion class player, specifically he was the champion of Alfheim. He was a top 8 player in the entire game of Yggdrasil (technically top 3 since all the champions had a free for all and he placed 2nd, though it was stated if he 1v1'd the dude in 3rd he would lose), his armor being world champion armor, which is why they were so surprises Ainz could use it without class restriction. In terms of power Touch Me was the strongest in Ainz's guild, he's also the dude who saved Ainz in the flashback of Ainz in the beginning of the 1st season. Also, the eyeball shown when Ainz kills Shalltear is a skill used from Aura, because in the novel it stated Ainz hesitated for a split second to crush the cash shop item that shortens the timer and Shalltear jumped on the opportunity immediately so Aura had to delay her a bit so she wouldn't interrupt the cast

I know that I'm late, but here is Ainz's plan to defeat Shalltear: Set timer that indicates the cooldown of "Fallen down" spell. Wear anti-holy robes, but make sure that Shalltear only uses holy spells, also use "False data: Life". Make Shalltear spend all her skills in the first phase of battle. After Shalltear spends all her skills, use "Cry of banshee" which is weak death spell with big radius and use "The goal of all life is death" that buffs death spells and makes it bypass all resistances and immunities. After Shalltear ressurects (she can only do it once), waste time waiting for cooldown of "Fallen down" and lower her hp enough to be oneshotted by "Fallen down". Ainz is great at PvP, but not on the level of Touch Me, who was the best PvP player in the entire game, with unique class of World champion that was given to him by the game admins exactly for that.

If i recall correctly Touch Me was not necessarily a Mid-Maxer but he was the best melee fighter, to get world champion armor u have to win a server wide tournament and the victor got the armor. I thnk his name is a request or more like a challenge, since being the best fighter was his goal with his very name he will prove it to anyone how dear tries to fight him. If u recall back when Ainz first fought Hamsuke, Aura use a skill to pull agro to get her to get out of the cave, I believe Aura used the same skill on Shalltear to draw her attention for a sec.

Aight, some more explanations: Yes, Yggdrasil was EXTREMELY P2W. This was one factor of how the world Ainz came from was just the worst. Like seriously, the author just made it awful. Governments had collapsed, at least one of Ainz's friends was unpersoned by the secret corporate police for knowing too much, and the air was so toxic you couldn't go outside without a gas mask. It was majorly dystopian, and Yggdrasil (and games in general) were used as both a means to placate the populace and bleed them dry financially. In fact, that's why in episode 2 Ainz was so struck by the sky, he had never seen a real clear sky before. His guildmate Blue Planet was very interested in ecology and nature, and he designed the 6th floor (Aura and Mare's) to have a stunning forest and fake sky to replicate the nature he would never see. Shalltear survived TGoALID because she had a resurrection item, and that's one of the few ways to counter that skill, using a resurrection item before the 12 second delay is up. Regardless, Ainz succeeded in his goal of depleting her skills and killing Enherjar. It's never revealed what the eye behind Shalltear was, but it's implied that it was Aura using a skill to distract her for a split-second so Ainz could finish his Super-Tier spell. You're right on the money (500 million gold of it) on how Ainz sees his dear companions in the NPCs, and that's why he acts so parental towards them. It does cause some strife with Albedo, since she wants him to view her romantically but he sees her more as a daughter or a niece (and being a skeleton has no sex drive anyway). I really don't think Mare was looking at Shalltear's ass, he's way too innocent. Kid doesn't know what's up.

last time i commented on the effects of The goal of all live is death. it turns out the instant death effect can be resisted by an ressurection item. So Shalltear didnt actually die hence she wasnt freed from here mind control. Although im not sure if the world item would still take effect if were killed and instantly ressurected. Since Nazarick NPCs are guild-made, they're basically like base defence mechanics. They work a little differently than actual people, you can restore them without level loss for a large sum of gold, like rebuilding damaged walls or something. Ainz could've used that resurrection wand he teased when he saved the villagers, but that has drawbacks. Also, keep in mind that while he is wealthy because of the Guild Bank, he can't use the currency except for the raw gold value, but even then, it would potentially give him away to other players. While the value of Yggdrasil gold dropped die to not being useful, it's also heightened by being tied to a world lost. There is no more Yggdrasil gold to be made and we don't know if he could use new world currency for stuff like resurrecting NPCs.

If you haven't started the season 2 yet, it highlights more the world around the MC and the people in his group and other groups. Not much Ainz in it but it's still kind of satisfying whenever he appears, at least in my opinion.

Anything. Literally. Anything. I could buy the best guild on the server to run me through anything. I could bribe them for a 0.1% mount if it dropped. I could buy all the mounts on the server auction house, and still have change left over. In the end it was kinda pointless since there was nothing to buy.
