oh man, hamerun comes back? I've always played as asmo so aside from the haramel stuff he's pretty much gone. thanks for this.

It's basically what happened after the events of Haramel. Hamerun fled to Theobomos, which is a pretty notorious gathering place for bounty hunters, criminals, and other scum. Before doing so he killed Gestanerk (the 3rd shugo in Haramel at the elevator), took his ability to control lesser sapiens for himself, and then fortified himself behind an army of Kerubi. There's some optional quests for Elyos players that put them on his trail. Long story short, Hamerun was still burning with hatred for the Daevas/shugos that foiled his plans. He kills some local shugos, makes the evidence point towards the local Elyos/humans as culprits, but just before the other Shugos go on a revenge crusade (involving stakes) the player notices traces that point to a 3rd party. You then track down and kill Hamerun, barely circumventing an armed riot.
