@Midniki default loot settings - there's a dice roll for green or better.. people can choose not to roll on certain items for need versus greed.. if everyone passes on the roll then it goes to however loots the body again.. non-rare loot is randomized or round robin.. i forget.. kinah (gold) pick-up is also divided among party members..

@Blissfallen - Probably does drop some caster gear, I never saw any but they increased the drop rate since then. you only have a few levels to go there, from 25-28, as soon as you hit 29 you can't get in again.
