That was around the time I quit playing. I was one of those "Pandas are Disney" dudes who stopped playing(stupid looking back now). I see the new low level raids and things nowadays and get the temptation to play again, but i won't. Between hardcore raiding and arena teams I was playing 4-8 hours a day just between the two, then I'd have to farm for raid supplies because I was never good with gold. Had a 19 twink rogue and was active in that community also. I'm too competitive to play wow casually and I have a family now. 😆 Good times and memories though. Never found a game similar.

Back in the day they were, had amazing laughs with GMs, unfortunately Blizzard took a turn which decided those guys aren't good employees. I've actually started playing SoM, so many bots, in vanilla you could report one and have a laugh with the GM messing with it before banning it. Reported 7 bots yesterday, and saw 4 that I had reported 2 weeks earlier. Sad. But overall I have to say the nostalgia is amazing. Retail is so bad in comparison.

Blizz should put events like this in the game. some nearly unkillable boss just randomly attacks capitol city. 10x harder than a raid boss with a near wipe talent for anyone that gets too close or just make it fire randomly. no city is immune. something that would make you call your friends and get them online to help kill it. nothing that will die in 2 minutes of fighting. have it happen twice a week. if it started randomly late at night when no one was online to kill it - let it go till some one does.

Unpredictable things and cool event made by the players themselves was what I absolutely LOVED about the game - kiting a boss to a city, invading a city with all the homies, camping players with full tank gear while not killing them, sneaking into stormwind or orgrimmar from behind dueling PVE players in a 2 v 5 xD Or even defending our territory from people trying to invade it and helping low lvl players - all these things made the game full of life forged by the players - miss it

This is why WoW feels so sterile today. They ''fix'' amazingly exciting things like this so they can't be done anymore, and along with dead world PvP the entire game feels so dull and predictable. How can literally standing in Org or SW doing nothing for hours at a time be so widely accepted as fun and interesting, but this amazing 'event' is considered bad? Why remove these things Blizzard? Why do you support a stale, dull community of people who play your game like a job? I can't believe it... this song. I have been trying to figure out what this song was for years. I remember it from old WoW videos like this one, even older videos actually. It's just so weird and catchy and reminiscent of that early-KZbin era... For years I searched for the song, in vain. I asked in KZbin comments and on Reddit. I would corner people in social situations and hum to them, they would have no idea what I was talking about and would recoil in fear and disgust. To be frank, this song ruined my life. But now, to unexpectedly discover this song in a random video that the mysterious KZbin algorithm suggested to me at one in the morning, it's surreal. I sat in my chair laughing as I slowly realized that I had finally found it. Thus ends a chapter of my life. It's as though for all these years a switch in my brain has been flipped down that needed to be up, stopping me from functioning, stopping me from living. Today, a new chapter begins. I can finally take charge of my life. I can get the help that I need. No more waiting, no more searching, no more yearning. Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life. I will wake up and say, "Hello, Mr. Life, nice to meet you. Have you heard this song? No, don't worry, I won't hum at you, I'm a normal person. The song is called Straight to Video by Mindless Indulgence, you should give it a listen. Anyways, I have to go now, it was nice meeting you. Take care." and off I will go, into the blinding white light, with a smile and a song, ready to face the world.

Unpredictable things and cool event made by the players themselves was what I absolutely LOVED about the game - kiting a boss to a city, invading a city with all the homies, camping players with full tank gear while not killing them, sneaking into stormwind or orgrimmar from behind dueling PVE players in a 2 v 5 xD Or even defending our territory from people trying to invade it and helping low lvl players - all these things made the game full of life forged by the players - miss it

you can make look like that by changing /console spelleffectlevel 250. can put 2000 if you want lolz! But if not working put it inside WTF, config folder, should works. Check tutorials on internet

I remember how I once convinced a friend to help me kite Hoger all the way from Stormwind to Undercity. The farthest we got was Lock Modan but a low lvl guy decided to be an ass and killed him. We gave up after the third attempt. This video made me nostalgic.

+Theb0x Becouse they started ruining the game in the second half of wotlk, i gave a try to draenor and wow if it sux, they were able to kill people fighting outside orgrimmar too, which was a meeting point since vanilla and then for years. The game now is shit.
