Cool form. Never seen that one before.

Thanks Matt! It's replacing the 24 Form as the standard form in China. Master Aiping learned about it when she went back to China in 2019. It's a great little simple short form.

@@AipingTaiChi Awesome, thanks for the update. Interesting to see more modifications coming out of China. It has a more historical approach respecting the "original 13". Here is a version i learned from Xianhao around 1997, a former teacher if your interested in compare/contrast. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5zMqomwedmsec0

Thank you 🙏❤️ It's direct translation is 8 Methods 5 Steps but I like to refer it as 8 Energies 5 Directions

What a beautiful Form! What is the name of the music please? Thank you!
@AipingTaiChi Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure the name of this music. It was part of the official demonstrations of the routine when they first rolled it out.

@@AipingTaiChi hello, so it is like the officia music to perform , like there is music for the 24- form? Thank you! Is there also music for the long form? Adjust curious 🧐
@AipingTaiChi Жыл бұрын
@@anvangheluwe4049 I don't know if it's considered official music for the form but when they first rolled out the form and produced videos demonstrating it (solo woman, solo man, group), they used this music. It's a beautiful piece of music and goes well with the form so many of us who demonstrate the form just continue to use this music rather than finding other music to use.
