Thanks for your video, I am wondering if you can comment on where the foot rest was and if the seat felt narrower considering the table in the seat divider. Any help on this position is appreciated!

@@sallybaxter3831 Our pleasure. The seat would mathematically be smaller due to the tray table, but we didn’t notice it. Andy is always concerned in the bulkhead about being able to spread out his legs without obstruction. He agreed, there was plenty of extra room at the bulkhead on this AC which we loved.

No footrest at bulkhead and seat is mathematically going to be less width. We’re not as concerned with seat width as legroom. And we didn’t need a foot rest. Don’t really use them anyways. So it boils down to personal preference.

When we travel to SE Asia from Toronto, or return, we prefer to fly with either Air Canada or Cathay Pacific! We've found those two airlines provide us with the best value, comfort and food. Although we usually just go for Economy seats, it was nice to see what it's like in Premium Economy. Cheers :)

We flew in those seats in May and June this year over on a 777 back on a 787. We had two really good flights nice crew and food almost up there with Air New Zealand.

Nice! Air New Zealand is definitely a great flying experience! We really enjoyed the cuddle beds and this cool coffee mugs on our last flight with them which was a while ago!

Can I ask air Canada is it only alllow one check in bag and one carry on per person? They charge you more if you have more then one check in luggage?

Definitely check with the airline directly as we only carry on! This typically changes based on destination and fare class, and seemingly the airlines constantly change their offerings!

Thanks for the video. I am looking into flights to Detroit and came across Air Canada. I am ok with paying a bit more for seats. I like leg room and premium economy seems to have that, plus not as many people around you. The food looks nice as well.

It does! That’s usually Andy’s concern and he fights me on it, but he agreed, this is the way to go for extra space and legroom!

@@TwoGayExpatsthanks for the answer. We will fly from zurich to toronto in the ac 777-200. normally this route is served by a dreamliner. And in the dreamliner i think bulkhead places offers not much legroom than the others row. My man and i will try those seat in the 777-200… thanks Daniel

Great video .. just saw that our flight to bcn from Toronto has been changed to this type of aircraft from Airbus. We were assigned row 13, which was bulkhead, now questioning whether we should request a change to row 12 … my hubby is 6ft.. on the Airbus, there was a nice recline with footrest that was integrity the seat .. is it the same on this airplane? Thanks so much!

I would double-check seatguru.com and look up your specific flight, as there are multiple layouts of AirCanada’s 777. We did not have a footrest in our seats, but we got crafty, as there was ample room to place my hand baggage at my feet to prop my feet up. Good luck and safe travels!

We always check before we recline so we don’t crush anybody’s knees - not every airline is as generous with leg room like AirCanada’s Premium Economy!! There seemed to be plenty of space behind us, but we can’t speak to sitting in those seats because we’ve not yet flown in them. The bulkhead seats, however, definitely offered ample legroom! The seats are a little narrower because the tray table stows in the sides, but it didn’t bother us - we’re not petite, but we’re also not larger gentlemen. Safe travels! ✈️

Last year I flew Fiji Airways to Nadi, and then the next day to Adelaide. on the way back from Adelaide to Nadi, I got bumped from my bulkhead. I had booked it because of health reasons. But I didn’t tell them that till they were bumping me. They offered me three seats in a row in the back and I accepted that. My question is, is it possible to book a bulkhead and notify an airline that you have to have this seat for health reasons? it threw me into a panic and I don’t wanna fly again unless I know I have my seat.

Great video! I am travelling to São Paulo, Brazil in a few weeks. First time flying premium economy & I also have seat 12k. Being 6’4”, would you think I will have ample leg room to stretch out? Flight time is about 10 hours. Also wondering where I put my small personal bag as there is no under the seat space for the bulkhead.

We found this the most spacious seat and legroom in PE. Andy typically doesn’t like the bulk head for the same reason as your concern, but he agreed with me this configuration was best case. For your personal bag, it must go up for takeoff and landing, otherwise you can have it down on the floor for easy access the rest of the flight. There was plenty of overhead bin space too.

@@TwoGayExpats Thanks for the reply, my biggest concern is leg room as I’ve flown Economy before and it wasn’t a pleasant experience so I’m happy I will have enough space. Also pleased that I will be able to have my bag on the floor after takeoff as that’s where my headphones, tablet and snacks are located.
