What exactly does the red knob adjust? You can screw it in and out... the manual doesn't even mention it!!

-- I think you are describing the air intake assembly. There should be a filter in it to keep dust and grime out. It can be taken off by unscrewing it. Best to keep it screwed on tightly and allow it to filter the air as it is pulled into the air pump.

Great point! The instructions, which shoutout: “WARNING! READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS…” No where in the manual does it mention the red (mine is blue) “knob”. I guess it’s so obvious that it shouldn’t be mentioned; Do not leave it off though!

Pretty nice, but you should find a little case or bag to put that in and tuck it away. My mom kept a little compressor in her trunk too. But the last time when we needed to use it, I pulled it out and the end of the male adaptor was broken. She probably dropped an ice chest or something heavy on it. Anyway, she bought a new one that is nicer and faster. It also comes in a little bag so it's not sprawling everywhere. Now I'm thinking should I put a new plug on her old one or just throw the whole thing away.

-- Keep it and put a new plug on it. As long as it works and is available when you need it then it's worth it. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Your write up is well done. I don’t write very well but I can see when someone does. Keep it up.
