Fantastic build Matt! I just finished building in the white version of the Y40 and REALLY enjoyed it. I took some inspiration from your cooler and fan selection initially, but finally ended up going with Arctic P12 and P14 ARGBs for the lighting and also because they look even cleaner than the Noctua Chromax 140s when set to intake on the side IMO. I also used the Proart board which looks dope AF if you want something understated. Because I‘m a musician and not a gamer, I‘m fine with iGPU graphics, so I did a vertical instal of a slick soundcard which has some subtle integrated LED and it looks great! 😊

Great Build!! I personally would have changed the Fans from Chromax to oldschool Beige-Brown in the Case or changed the Fans on the Grapics to Chromax to match each other (personally had done first, like the Oldschool Noctua Colours).......But great Build anyway.....In Deecember 2023 I will build in a Lian Li O11 Vision black a full Noctua Build with the 4080 Noctua Edition, hope this looks good with full Beige-Brown Fans without RGB (hope my Air-Cooler fits the vertical mounted GPU, its a Monster)

Beautiful & Beautiful ❤ 13600K is such a good gaming processor btw. The looks of the vertical GPU is sick but from and airflow pov, it looks a little counter intuitive vs. horizontal

Yes I totally agree about the 13600K. It’s probably the best CPU you can buy for gaming and productivity right now. It smashes the older i7 12700K straight out the water even! 😁

Great work here... just a note... for better design language, you should used the regular brown fans, or open the asus cooler and exchanged the brown fans for the chromax ones... Maybe a "Redux" some down the line?

Did you see the post I put on Instagram a few days ago with Chromax fans inside the Noctua GPU? The idea is good… but the execution not so much with the shroud being light brown still 🙌

@@Mr_Matt_Lee hello Matt, im sorry i don´t use Instagram, was a picture? Do you have a link? Yes the Shroud is Brown, but the color of the fans does not work on a chromax build. Its ofc not your fault, but you should do the same case but with normal brown fans instead.

Love my Noctua on my overclocked 6700k, been holding strong for over 7 years. Using the 13600KF for this build was the right choice, anything stronger than that would require some AIO solution. My new PC has a 13700k (stock clocks) and even one the biggest Noctua wasn't enough to cool it down. The only real downside of this build is that the 3080 is a bit dated, too bad there aren't Nvidia 4000 series with Noctua fans.
