Air Diffusers - Installation: Dundas Jafine

Dundas Jafine air diffusers are ideal for in-wall or suspended ceiling applications. This product allows for fresh airflow between rooms and features a lock nut for secure air flow balancing, as well as a flange collar and locking ring for suspended ceiling applications.
The air diffusers require no studs for installation and come with a smooth clean finish which allows for easy cleaning on a regular basis.

The defuser gets pushed out of the flange and falls on the ground literally every single time the furnace turns on. The air pushes it out so easily.

Bend the metal tabs out to have more tension.

What sort of appliance do you have this hooked up to and how many CFMs is this appliance releasing in air pressure?

@@DundasJafineInc I'm using this as a ceiling mounted air vent for my furnace. Not sure what the CFM is

@@lach0125 It is fine to be used for this purpose and there should be no issues. I'm not sure how the center damper is falling out as there is a threaded screw that holds this in place. Pease send photos so we can get a clearer visual of how this is occurring - [e-mail]

@@DundasJafineInc The center isn't falling out ... the entire defuser falls out because the metal clips don't have nearly enough pressure to keep in within the flange. I've tried double-sided tape all along the flange, but that was just as useless.
