Note: With the first tech you can split it into THREE pieces not two but since it was not mentioned in the instructions I chose not to show it, It was so difficult to use this way I thought it was more for style than functionality so thought best to avoid it, bad choice on my part really! - when split into three this way I found even when the main body was set to follow it generally was VERY difficult to move though turning speed was slightly increased but also far less reliable. Should have shown that honestly, my bad! First episode, a little rushed due to Terratech full release being today! Need feedback in the comments, series name (Current name is just a filler as I wanted this uploaded today!) format, any ideas and suggestions for designs to be taken a look at PLEASE feel free to tell me! :D

Feedback and suggestions: ► I'm glad you took the time to go into Creative for realistic enemy kills, too. Good work. :-) ► Maybe with big battle techs you could try them against the full series of R&D turrets, easiest on upwards, without stopping. To assess their prowess. Or see how long they take to kill the big yellow brick. ► Title wise, how about "Community Creations"? That way doesn't limit you to Steam workshop if something catches you eye. The dev stream (before workshop) used to be called "Community Core", and ReaperX1 has carried on with that title with techs submitted to him. ► The Workshop has been very much a thumbnail voting contest, with some essentially broken techs that look nice getting top spots (because negative ratings have little/no effect and players don't use them). Conversely, I know of fair few criminally under-subscribed creators that I can point you at, so... ► Definitely worth going back through some older techs and doing a bit of digging. I'll give you a few to start with. (Be a little cautious, as some very clever old techs (particularly multi-techs) have been broken by fairly recent strength changes to hovers plates and Zero Propellers.) Check out: • "ksd_gk" (Chinese, I think) for various hover techs that don't look obviously compelling, but work brilliantly, hanging perfectly balanced (like Flight of the Navigator). e.g. "GK Elf D", "GK Ash" and "GK PlaneFactoryA" (a *true* VTOL plane that's also a fully functional all-crafter!). • "QuackDuck"s airships are marvels to behold. His "[Airship] Dire Wolf" actually made it big, recently, thankfully. • "MrTwister" has some really fun *big* techs that are practical: "FAVTL Hurricane MK6" (huge, awesome looking, OP VTOL), "ASH MadCat MK3c" (fun fast gound destruction). • "NightbladeGreyswandir" has a lot of great builds, but lots of subs and been featured by other KZbinrs a fair bit... "Olli_DXD" some great modelplanes, too.... "Jaime__Wolf" some high concept stuff... • "Legionite"s cleverest stuff is broken, but his "Kraylin Tank MK3" is a great example of a multi-tech turret that's robust enough to be campaign compatible (once in place). • For my part it's mostly optimised crafting techs (which you're welcome to show sometime), but I'd love you to try out my "ZG ChriiRock SkyFish" VTOL some time, to see how nimble a non-hover-bug tech can fly, and how fun. First in my collection list of other people's VTOLs/heli's. Can give you URLs (elsewhere) if it helps...

You should have 5 Ratings for techs: Speed (tested by doing a race) Weapon Power (tested by how many hits it takes to kill a specific design) Control (tested by driving it and deciding if it's easy to control) Durability (tested by taking a bunch of hits from a powerful weapon) Fun (you decide)

I think some kind of rating system would be cool. For each tech you could give a star rating for maneuverability, for creativity and for usability in a survival world. You could do this every week or every month and call it "Super Tech Showcase" (STS) or something. I'd love to see more of this! Greetings from Belgium, keep up the good work.

The top speed of the buggy in the air is 203mph, 202 mostly. Lathrix just flew a buggy at nearly 2/3 the speed of sound, fell down hundreds of feet, landed perfectly, and took no damage several times

So, you can drop the tank from any height, and it won't take damage. Also, cannon shells will continue until they hit something, so range is only limited by the the angles and the speed of the cannon shells. Thx for showcasing my tech! I have another Chinook that is easier to land/control and carries a small tank inside. -paj329

8:28 - Press [X] (to doubt).... Oh, you figured out the bolts button, good. :-) The render distance bug used to occur if you reload while it's night-time - the decreased night-time draw distance transfers onto whatever world you load (including main menu), until you go through night again and reach morning. (Or reload game.) But there may be a lack of distance fogging sometimes now, which confounds the issue...

I think the first design works with two drivable pieces with the turret on the back since there is a venture strut connecting them like the turret was and Hawkeye struts working as a hinge it would also explain why it turns so badly.

(PLEASE LIKE SO LATHRIX WILL SEE) I think the render distance glitch is because it includes hight in the calibration thing. So if you go really high you can see the the ground fine, but you can't see three feet infront of you.

I was noticing that in some of your older videos you love kinetic damage and mods, so I have a tech for you that I even accidentally made in your colors! Black and red! THE LAMENT (it’s a massive sword based on the exotic sword of the same name from destiny 2) bends the physics engine to your will to obliterate your foes! It uses modded GIGALORD engine bells to achieve this power, and I’ll have a walkthrough to get said mods for anyone who wants them, I’ll also have the workshop link to this massive rocket sword soon.

Rankings idea: Every week, you choose the best of the week. Then compare it to the Reigning Champion. If you like it better, then the Champion is dethroned, and the winning vehicle is the new Reigning Champion until its eventual defeat. Possible downside: There might be a vehicle that you like so much, it never gets defeated as the reigning champion. Possible Solution: Any vehicle that is not defeated in 5 weeks gets retired to the Hall of Champions. You can make a whole ceremony for it. lol
