I put masking tape on the blunt side of the blade , a couple layers so that I know which side is blunt & which is sharp. It also helps with holding it, you will have to change the tape out for new tape every now & again. Great video 👍🏼! I can not wait to make some beautiful flowers 🌺! Great tip about the uv resin & coloured moulds as I did not know that & would have made that mistake.

Almost any glue with work. I love E6000 because it is very strong but be careful it is also a bit toxic. Wood glue is also very good but make sure it dries clear. Sorry for the late answer !!

I just started using air dry clay. I've been decopaging glass jars, and just napkins are getting boring. So I saw some videos where they use clay. So that's what I'm gonna do. I had some issues with the clay sticking to the molds, so you answered my question. Using hand creM. I tried using corn starch, but it doesn't work well on the punch cutters. So im going to try the cream. Thank you for your advice.
@StylHarmony3 жыл бұрын
Sounds great! Yes depending of the brands some will use corn starch and other will use hand creme. Make a test and see what fits you best. Keep on crafting Ursula !

Try Dope Slimes clay, it is marketed for slime but it is actually a great clay. I have many clays, the texture shes using reminds me of Dope Slimes. They import their clay. They have a website & also sell on Amazon but it might be cheaper on their site. You can get 100 grams for around 2.50$ 500grams for 10$ & 1kg for 20 or 25$

Hi nice video, I was wondering what glue you used in your video with the dry clay and making flowers and where can you get it and what other kinds of glue can you use.
@ursulagreen83743 жыл бұрын
In a lot of the videos I've watched, they just use a white glue, I'm assuming school glue. But I use one called 527 or E6000 on a lot of crafts, they are good for metal, glass, wood, paper, tile, ceramics and more. They are both really strong glues and are clear. I plan on decorating glass jars with the clay, so I don't think school glue would be strong enough. I used make hairbows and used E6000 to attach embellishments, and amd clips or barrettes, that worked great. I made some pictures with sea shells and I used the 527, and that seems to be a lot stronger of a hold.

I am not sure all that cream is helping the clay, cream on hands, surface and now in moulds. Perhaps cornflour would be better to put into the moulds.
