Great process. Swapping out the pads is not all that time consuming. It provides for a great end result.

After pushing/polishing/handbombing granite for 15 years...... Developing two spine conditions....... pretty impressive energy saver i might say. I wouldn't listen to the haters stuck in the big granite guy state of mind.. bin there done that NOT cool..you need to rinse more and spend more time with each pad and apply less pressure as you go threw the pads. I bet the edges are straight.
@WonderBread9186 жыл бұрын
It shouldn't have a grey strike down the middle when your done polishing that means you missed the middle with some pads
@brakeduster2 жыл бұрын
Not sure why this came up in my feed, but either those finishing pads are worn out or the machine is not horizontal. That haze is unacceptable unless there is a further finishing stage not presented here. Either way, we never saw the "before" condition either. It needed further development.

I have 30yrs on the tools polishing granite from memorial work to counter tops and more... Any one that tries to improve his or her lot shouldn`t have such hatefull coments made but instead have at least some advise that will hopefully improve their efforts....shame on the lot of you........The the real reason for the cloudy/missed polish to the middle of the surface is because the pad material is soft. I am not talking about the backing pad. As preasure is applied the outer edge of the pad slightly rolls over the sides of the edge being polished and thus lifts the cunter of the pad,the flat pad adopts a dome shape. the more pressure applied the worse the problem. for this specific reason edge poliishing machines use hard blocks..I respectfully suggest to Air Tools Gison that he uses hard blocks,slow the rpm by half and slow the feed by half and he will aheive what may well be a perfect edge polish. Futher..I would never say things that my fists couldn`t cash. Keep up your good works Gison

Your wrong mate I've also got years of experience here's what's wrong people 1.PRESSURE FROM POLISHING PAD TO STONE NEEDS TO BE MINIMUM 1 BAR PRESSURE OR VERY CLOSE TO IT. 2. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CENTRE OF THE POLISHING PAD ITS PROBABLY BETTER SET UP LIKE THAT. 3.LESS WATER FOR CORSE GRIT POLISHING PADS AS YOU SHOULD ADD MORE PRESSURE YOU SHOULD NOT NEED MUCH WATER UNTIL FINAL TWO POLISHING PADS THEN TURN WATER UP A BIT MORE WHY BECAUSE THE WATER TURNED UP TO MUCH CAUSES THE POLISHING PADS TO NOT POLISH PROPERLY HIGH PRESSURE PLUS MOVEMENT AND A PAD THAT'S REALLY FINE CREATES A THIN SURFACE AREA WHERE THE WATER AND PAD DON'T TOUCH EXAMPLE ( LIKE WHEN A CAR TYRE AQUAPLANES ON WATER ) 4.TRUST ME I CAN POLISH ANY STONE ENGINEERED OR NATURAL WITH SAND PAPER AND A FELT BUFF HEAD AND POLISHING POWDER. THIS LITTLE GISMO WOULD BE REALLY HANDY IN TRAINING PEOPLE QUICK

What is the purpose of this some kind of adapter? You have to round off little bit of the actual edge so it is not sharp to the touch, but this thing doesn't do that.
@outofbusinesscompany21569 жыл бұрын
***** I am not sure if anybody needs anything for "flat polishing", unless they have a bad case of hand' shaking. So, pretty much this thing is useless.................no purpose! Failed invention.

This tool definitely has a place in the granite polishing world, but you have to spend a lot more time to make it right. Really though it's completely unnecessary you can do the same thing with better results way faster without it. Cool tool though

I'm not a pro or anything, but I like to take all of my equal height trim and clamp it together, then polish the whole assembly like slab. Not perfect, but stone is still better than wood floor trim...

If you can't polish a piece of flat splash without that contraption then you should be hit with a hammer. Its probably best at getting little granite chunks caught in it and leaving beautiful scratches running the length of the splash. Watch next video on repairs.

lyricist lyricist your an idiot. This is for demonstration only. Youd never have an edge facing up puke that in real life. The thibg is shit. He just needs to learn to polish by hand and then he dont have a fadded polish like he had with the contraption.
