Very good takeoff and addon shot...a reduced power takeoff for the weight. I have been on ANA 45 times since 2009 and always enjoy it, My 767 Friend Capatain tells me they are very strong and easy to fly and Boeing build great aircraft and he is a former MD!! co pilot.

Okay, that push-back and take-off, with the external shot, is just damn' wonderful! I've seen several trip reporters say the Dreamliner has that fresh, clean feel to the cabins, even Economy. Seemed a bit noisier than I'd imagined, though. The IFE looked very good - was that Skyrim? Only thing I'd say is that the Kid's bit needs more on it. Imagine travelling with a little one, who has seen the two videos, can't relax, and isn't quite big enough to do computer games? Yeah. Lunch looked fresh, and that may have been a Salade Nicoise? Great video, consider me a subscriber!

The noise could be the vibrations through my camera mount of the window, I have to look if I can avoid it somehow. Don't remember if the IFE was Skyrim, will keep an eye out next time. In comparison with the adult options there is not alot for kids indeed, especially on long flights. I'm not a foody at all, I'm quite fuzzy when it comes to eating. I don't think it was a Salade Nicoise, think it was a grain salad with vegetables and tuna. Not really my cup of tea to be honest, I prefer a hamburger with some fries 🙂

Unfortunately, this trip report does not give a sufficient impression of the flight.. - If the menu that Air Europa provided for this flight of more than two hours anyway, was all that Air Europe was going to provide (and let me say in a manner that you would expect in Economy but not in Business) it is not very impressive.

Is air Europa that popular within spain? They do lot of 787 a330 domestic and EU routes. Don't see them expanding into central and eastern EU much. Good video!

I noticed the business class seating set-up was very different from the previous Latam Airlines flight, would you say the Europa one was above average for this kind of airline? I noticed they have 2 787-9 series in service and 16 on order, so must be doing well. Cheers

Hi Gary, thanks for watching mate! It's difficult to say if it's above average because it's not a normal route for the Air Europa 787. It's always a big plus if there is an IFE onboard on short haul flights that you can use. I flew from LHR to MAD with BA 777 with IFE onboard which was not on for passengers to use. Not even a flight map with info on the flight. The biggest difference though between the LATAM and Air Europa flight is the sense of privacy: due to the seat divider it feels more private then seats without the divider. I did noticed some inconsistency flying Air Europa: I flew back the same day on a 787-8 business class. We did get a snack and drink after takeoff before the lunch, we didn't get it on the flight to Madrid. Also on the flight back no headsets were provided, leaving me lipreading 🙂 But if you ask me this flight was alot better then my BA 777 flight from LHR to MAD. Cheers mate!
