Air filter replacement on Z4 E89

I've had the front of the airbox off just the other day doing the front grilles replacement , but as you need to loosen all the bolts on the housing it makes sense to remove them all doing the filter. i've just replaced the air filter done exactly this way as this great video shows in under 15 mins from bonnet up to bonnet down . on my E89 and even on my immaculate 12 year old Z4 i wear blue nitriles when under the bonnet !

The air filter can be replaced without removing the whole box, just the clip on cover.

Thant’s one dirty filter, can you not change the filter by just unclipping and separating the two halves of the chamber?

I dont understand why you renoved the whole box? You can just disconnect tue intake and unclip the front of the box without removing everything
