Just wasn't what I expected, and I wanted to travel. For the work that it required it just wasn't worth it for me, but I met some of the coolest guys their.

Any advice on how to memorize the change of command starting with the president? I’m having real difficulty memorizing ppls full names and ranking order.

You don't need to memorize the chain of command from the president down. You only need to remember that chain of command at basic which you won't know till you get there. Just memorize the Air force rankings of enlisted and officers

Yeah still in tech school now, it's honestly not bad. The later fuels portion gets a little tougher and isn't as interesting but as long as you pay attention it's fine. It definitely can transfer to civilian world very well and make good money.

Yeah usually it's a regular 8 hour day, of course there are exceptions but those are ofc rare. Most the time you'll be part of a shop and if there's a project or work tag you'll work those.

I believe the minimum for 6'2 is 148 lbs and the max weight is 214lbs

Can you tell me how the flight physical is for SW at BMT? What they do? I hear some can get disqualified and not end up continuing for SW

It's been a while but I'll tell you as much as I remember. They do an eye test to test your eye reaction time by blowing a quick air burst in your eye, not as bad as you think. They test your heart rate with like 12 wires attached to you lol. Then you're regular physical again. They check your dental and reflexes and another urine and blood test.

They also do a psychological evaluation to see if you can withstand what's coming after BMT, pretty much just asking questions about your life and how you cope with stress.

I did not like bmt at all. It sucked lol. Now In tech school. Im in school for 4nox1 failed a test, hopefully I pass or I’ll get reclassed.

I really wanted to travel more and SERE different offer what I wanted, plus wasn't to excited about the teaching aspect. They give you a list of all the jobs in the Air Force and you can pick 5 to 10 jobs that you would like, that doesn't mean you will get what you want. Most of the time you don't

I didn't make it past the selection process which requires a number of sleepless and stressful nights for about two weeks and hard work each day, nothing easy but you probably know that. If it is for you I think it would be a great job and worth it.

I mean you can bring whatever you want, the things that aren't allowed will be kept in your luggage and locked up. With that being said no you wouldn't be allowed to do that, and if you could there really isn't any time to do so. The oldest recruit I saw was near the cut off at age 36 or 37 I believe

If you are talking about the flight to San Antonio, then we did have different people from different sates in our squadron that came from all around the country. There is about 800-1000 people per Squadron

Personally I didn't find the ASVAB that bad but it's different for everyone and if you want to do better than you can always study. That depends, the air force has standards of weight depending on your height. If you don't know what those are you can ask your recruiter or you will probably be able to look that information up.
