Man that place has changed a lot since I went through in 2004. We use to be 3 per room and 2 room shared 1 joining bathroom.

I was at Goodfellow 73/74 for 6 months. I was in a fairly new dorm, had a common day room 6 bedrooms 1 bath with 2 sinks, shower and toilet(s?). No microwave, no fridge. 2 people per bedroom. It was OK. I remember the flight line was used for a car parking lot. No planes. Most of the bases I was at had no planes, go figure.

"way too headass" lmaoooo! that had me dying. Honestly for tech school I think that's a little too "headass." Besides you'll probably score a free tv while you're there like I did. Id wait to bring that 60in to your first base

a few days man, you can take leave after tech school is done

Basic training is about 8 weeks long. Tech school really depends on your job. As for me, my tech school is about 3 and a half months. Once im done with my tech school, Ill take leave and then head to my first duty station. Hope that answered your question.
