try putting the dangler behind the plate in the platebag using the velcro on the interior of the plate bag. It allows the dangler to fit way more flush with the plate, and more securely as well.

You should try moving your baton pouch to your belt and move the double mag pouch 1 Molle row closer to your quick release tubes. I imagine it would be difficult to draw either of those two mags if they’re so tucked under your arm pit. Same idea behind the baton to the belt. You can utilize the admin pouch built into the top Molle row on your JPC 2.0 for your notebook and pens. And ditch the hanger pouch all together so you don’t always have to dig for things in order to grab something from the pouch. I liked running my gloves on a carabiner on my belt and of course flashlight in a pouch on the belt or in the admin pouch depending on the size.

So everything is basically place where I can grab it, I can grab both mags from the double mag as well as my baton, the reason for me not running it in my belt is because it gets in the way of mobility whenever I arm with my m18 & also I don’t have an admin pouch embedded in my plate carrier idk if the newer versions got rid of it or what & also the hanger pouch is so I don’t overstuff my pockets with stuff that doesn’t need to be there, I really appreciate the feedback though!!

Also it gets so cold here I don’t wanna run my gloves or flashlight outside the pouch just in case the carabiner freezes or the flashlight internals do

Hey man. I'm prior service army. Likely going air force unless they discover I'm not as think as they smart i am lol Don't BS me. How's the job? I know gate duty is boring but work-life balance wise. It pretty bad or not so much?

Hard to say.. I’m at a Nuke base so I’ve barely been at the gate the mission here is a bit different allowing for things other than the gate.. patrol can be long & a lot the gate isn’t bad though I’ve only been in a year & at this base. I go to the gym almost everyday & still have time to do the things I like my sleep schedule is weird though since I’m mids.. they say you work 12s but you never really work 12s it’s always longer ofc but honestly a lot of opportunities in sf & I like it so far

@@SlimIsHim appreciate the feedback. I was leaning towards DAGRE if I do go SecFo but from what I've been told at least for the first year or so expect to be scanning IDs at the gate day in and day out. Take the good with the bad I guess.

If you’re on a base close to the border you have a pretty good chance (national guard would be sent to the border for security) first though if the state wants that. Most likely will send in special forces though delta force.

Security forces are garbage, they eat their own. If you do get it just keep a positive mindset, security forces on the outside barely has anything that will transfer besides security jobs which is why you should get a degree while in. I recommend you aim for a cyber, contracting or intel job.

I’m ngl they’re moving away from the “police” side of secfo at least when I was in tech school it was more about being diplomat ready but idk. Also toxic leadership is in every single job not in just the military or secfo you’ll run into it no matter what job you do, but overall yes I love it.. I’m currently trying to do what I need to do to go k9 but I like it honestly. LOTS of shred outs & it’s pretty easy to make a packet for them as well.
