In your opinion, would you rather go to Maldives or Bora Bora? And why?

I like Bora Bora a bit more since it feels a bit more "authentic" and you can resort hop. The Maldives are beautiful but the resorts feel like silos; 99% of the time, you're basically locked into their food options and amenities.
