@@LaddieT Wrong, AF447 did pitch down numerous times during the descent, and would keep activating the warning intermittently every time the nose fell through. Bonin kept pitching up because the stall warning activated whenever he pitched forward. As for the bank, the A330 descended in a right handed spin, more or less until it was almost dropping in the complete opposite direction to its flightplan.

@randy1189 No, there are numerous times in which Bonin did pitch the nose down, but because the pitots detected the low speed because the airflow was able to enter them again, the stall warning activated and it made Bonin think that he was doing some good by pitching up. Even when Robert took controls in the last few seconds of the flight, he resorted to pulling back as well when he realized that they were about to crash. Everyone had the same mindset no matter what they said. At the end of the CVR you can even hear Captain Dubois telling Robert that he should pitch up once the EGPWS activated.
