The fish was raw and cold. I put it back on 400 for 7 additional minutes.

Do you preheat your air fryer ? I am using a cosori air fryer, and I pre heat it first before air frying the fish.

i didn't like it out of the oven (tasted weird). i'll have to try it in the air fryer and see if it's better.

Mine was still frozen after 8 minutes.

If you cooked it while still frozen you have to lower your temp and adjust the time. Mine was thawed out before i air fried the cod.

@@DashofSpices good to know it was thawed out because at the @1:09 mark, it looks frozen. also, i think the package says to cook from frozen and not to thaw before cooking?

Sometimes it depends on the air fryer itself, it takes some trial and error but the good thing is you can always adjust it. Always start with a short time, then adjust to your liking.

My cod is fresh and takes longer than eight minutes.
