Air Fryer Chili Cheese Dogs in Less Than 15 Minutes

Today we are making chili cheese dogs in the air fryer - a super easy dinner that is family friendly and quick!
Ingredients:
Hot dogs (we used 4 Nathan's hot dogs)
Hot dog buns (we used whole wheat Nature's Own)
Can of your favorite chili
Onions, diced
Cheddar cheese
Mustard, optional
Ketchup, optional
Crispy jalapeños, optional -- we find these near the salad toppings in the grocery store!
Directions:
Cook the hot dogs at 380 degrees for 7 minutes in your air fryer; adjust depending how crispy you like your dogs! Build the hot dogs in the air fryer with chili, onions, and cheese and cook at 380 for 4 minutes; adjust to your liking!

I love the Corner bar chili dogs in Rockford. I grew up in Cedar Springs. They are the best I've ever had. We have 5 generations of our family who have enjoyed them. We wish we had the recipe for at home. Anyway we occasionally take a 2 hour drive just to get some. Enjoyed your video and will try your recipe.

Life is really a simulation lmao. I was craving chili dogs yesterday as well. I bought the franks, the bread, the chili, everything basically and made it on the air fryer as well Well almost everything - I cooked the dogs in it then when it was done, I placed it in the bread and toasted it for about 2 mins and then topped it with chilli that I warmed up separately and cheese Never thought about actually cooking it with the chili on top and the cheese to melt 🤔

Lol but now I want chili cheese fries! Lol but by the time I cook them in the air fryer the chili cheese dogs are cold! I know! Cook the hot dogs first, then fries, then build the dogs with bun chili etc…. Then heat up the rest of chili in can and dump it over the fries. Ok going to Sam’s for the Sam’s Nathan’s sized dogs in the fridge section and no beans chili at Sam’s. I already keep a 5 lb bag of Walmart good value frozen crinkle cut fries in freezer and buy bulk block cheese from Walmart and grate my own as the preheated FOR ME IMO doesn’t melt as well. Thanks for the idea! I’m off! I know my mind says I need 2 air fryers to make this meal and not have to “reason out” how to prioritize cooking via just using an air fryer lol so lazy!
