Air fryer stops working repair. Iconite

Sorry for the poor video. I saw a lot of reviews out there on air fryers with the same issues and wanted to see if I could help some people fix the problem. Thanks for watching!

This same thing just happened to the Air Fryer I've had for about 3 or 4 years now. It just turned off in the middle of cooking. Gonna check the bottom of mine as well. Thanks for the upload. 😊👍🏾

I bought a non working one turned out to be the thermal fuse something to look out for.

A similar issue just happened to our air fryer. Grateful for this video as it seems like an easy fix! Only thing I haven't been able to do is jumper the two wires/cables together. Can you give a bit more direction on how you did that? Presumably, if I jumpered them and the fryer still didn't come on, it's an issue beyond the switch. Thanks in advance for the help!

Just put a piece of wire in between and jumped them together. It will turn right on when you plug it in.

Did you test for the switch malfunctioning? Would that be a continuity test?

Hello! Can you please tell me how to disconnect the wire from the microswitch? I have the same problem with my AirFryer and I tried to change the damaged with a new micro switch, but I can't disconnect the wire from him.

They're sometimes at the top (where the basket goes in). But same priciple as described.

I am not a 100% sure on that. I pulled the switch out and matched it up to one on Amazon.

I replaced mine didn't cross any wires and it now works in reverse. You take the basket out it turns on, put the basket in it turns off!
