Hi Graham and Wendy, i've just come across this video. The dinner looks lovely, that's one meat i like but just the breast. I start mine off breast down, i usually cook the chicken first then do the roasties, that's a brilliant idea doing them at the same time, why didn't i think of that. I will do that in the future as you say it protect the legs. Well i've learned something new today. Cheers Graham

Hi Sandra, it seems a while since we did that video, it’s funny how we are all learning all the time. Sometimes I forget and have to learn again. We love all the flavours together. Hope you and John are well ❤️🥰😘👍

John's not too bad at the moment, he's found out he's got emphysema, but he's got two inhalers which are really helping. I'm alright now but last Friday it was a nice day so i decided to clean the windows outside, luckily i was only using the short steps as i fell off them, i'd only got half the window done when i went sideways onto the ground. It was no good shouting for help because John wouldn't have heard, so i managed to get up but it really shook me up. I had a lot of aches and pains but the worst of it was it brought my sciatica on and i could hardly walk, luckily i'm alright now.

Great sunday lunch, Well Done.I tend to soak my chickens in brine to make them more tender and juicy, but that lunch looked delicious and very moist. I'm watching this at 10.30 in the evening and it sure made me feel really hungry, so I'm off to make pork bap and a cuppa tea.

Hi Graham and Wendy, your dinner looks delicious. I haven't tried this yet in my air fryer, only in a conventional oven. If you cover the chicken with streaky bacon, when cooking it protects the skin, and if the legs are cooking faster put some on the legs and the breasts to stop skin from breaking. I do this with turkeys too. If you use smoked streaky bacon, it gives your chicken a lovely flavour, if the bacon is getting too cooked, put foil over the top of the chicken and tuck it down underneath the chicken. Also you should check out an instant pot, one that does pressure cooking along with loads of other things, we have a small one, which is enough for vegetables for 2, and they only take minuets to cook once up to speed, we also have baskets in the instant pot, which separates our vegetables, they all come out cooked well, and full of flavour. Your dinner has made me feel very hungry. We like to eat at the table too, we must be old fashioned these days. Have a great Sunday, catch you on the next one 👍💯

Hi Rosemary there’s a lot to think about in those comments🥰😘 I wondered about the bacon but we are getting close to the heater and the fan. I dad squash the chicken a little to make more room at the top. We have and insta pot and a willow special but I seem to be using the air fryer and slow cooker all the time. I’ll have to slow down on the videos soon I’m getting fatter 😂😂😂 that dinner today was lovely. Long live the dinning room table 👍🥰😘.

@@grahamgetsabout2672 Oh No! Please don't slow down on the videos, we enjoy them so much. Just cook healthier things, that won't make you put on weight, you can always use your other kitchen appliances for a change, and just do your videos when you are cooking for you and Wendy's main meals etc. You made Ena's day with the air fryer eggs, exploding, and you being afraid to pick them up, next time use a long handled silicone spoon. Don't forget to add more thing's to your Amazon list, anything you may need for your cooking, and cleaning up including utensils, pans etc, food grade preparation gloves, ideal for chicken, and raw meat, I'm horrified when people see the need to wash out a chicken in the kitchen sink, all that bad bacteria splashing about, I never wash chicken etc, and always use gloves to handle it, which when finished handling meat etc, I turn inside out as I'm taking them off, and dispose of in the kitchen bin. You can get an air fryer conversion chart too. Yes I'd be lost without my dining room table, I don't know how people can slouch about to eat food. Mind you I was brought up in an era, when all meals were eaten at the table, and we still do it now, so long live the dining room table. Great show today, lovely Sunday dinner, bet is was most enjoyable 💯👍

@Graham Gets about my first whole chicken I did try it with the crisper tray but it was 2 near the element and it got stuck I went on the Vesync app if you type in whole chicken it comes up with a recipe for citrus roasted whole 🐔 i did not follow the recipe to the letter I just wanted to see how a whole chicken was cooked and I just cooked it as it said I probably did not have to turn it over but I just wanted the breast to stay moist as you say yours was nice and moist I did the chicken function but did not cook on 190c like the recipe said I did mine on 180c I have a cooking thermometer so it was definitely cooked its a learning curve but fun 😀
