I think that the story is short or someone didn't really plan out the details. Scanner Danner pauses and explains how the throttle goes lean at first due to a big gulp and then fuel goes rich and it's best seen on a wide open throttle given time to respond you need distance. A snap is not conclusive. Your better off creating a rich or lean condition to measure it abilities

Will it adjust for hydrogen? Other words if you add h2o will it change the ratio of fuel to air?

this is a snap-on video. they're showing off the scan tool. He didn't say anything of value. he basically just accessed the live data and looked at the sensors

I have an 05 murano,I got a P1273 code,B1sensor 1 lean code. I don’t have a fancy,expensive equipment to see how the sensor functions. But I have one to see the voltage. The voltage for B1s1,is 0.290 and the B1s2 is the same voltage. However, the B2s1 is 0.600 and B2s2 is 0.450 volts. So,when I rev up the engine,the voltage on Bank 1,sensors,only increase slightly. Can you explain and rule out what component is bad ? By the way,those up stream sensors are AF sensors. Thanks

My 05 murano,A/F ratio sensor on bank 1S1,has 0.295 volts and bank 2S1 has 0.600 volts. Why are these two sensors have very different voltage? What is the correct voltage should be ? On the other hand, the fuel trims are normal,I think. The readings are, short term bank 1 is, -4 %and long term bank 1,is 6% and bank two are about the same. Would you be able to tell me, which component is the culprit? With these informations given? I can smell stink from tail pipe. Thanks

So for Nissans , specifically those with vq motors bank 1 sensor 1 should read ideally at .3 volts while bank 2 sensor 1 should read ideally at .6 volts. I forget off the top of my head exactly why that is but your car appears to be running normally as your fuel trims appear within spec (+\- 10)

My equivalent ratio on b1 s1 is maxing out at 1.999 is this normal for a working 02 or is there a fault?

Was that a ohms continuity test ? Or when it was plugged in? I have some new densos 2249047 and 42 and they're testing 2.8 ohms and 3ish And my light still there so I'm tryna determine if they're faulty and return.

So my scan tool is showing 14.7 before starting, then as soon as I start it it climbs to 22.04 and stays in the 22 range throughout the afr range. Would this indicate a bad air fuel sensor?
