It seems like a simple check with a multimeter. So pin 6 and 14 are check at any time for 60ohms at resistors at DLC with everything intact with key off?

These voltage pulses happen so quickly that you'd never ever be able to detect them on a multimeter.

Hi, nice video. Just wondering what you think about this. I have a 2016 Ford Focus Titanium and i want to add Adaptive Cruise Control in my car. Now the Focus did not come with ACC in the US, but did in Europe/UK cars. If i splice in the CCM into the can bus high speed do you think the system will see it? I have an ignition wire, a ground and the plus and minus high speed can bus wires. Tnx.

I know I am a noob , I learned that CAN high lines goes can high(2.5 to 3.5 v) & can low ( 1.5 to 2.5 ) , I see different voltage here😢why I am confused, is it not CAN high or there is some bias Thankyou for upload

not good scope for net work or intermittent faults , I have it but as my diagnostic skill grow up had to get pico scope to record and capture intermittent fault , as snap on has zoom out function only which is good for fault is present all time .

I believe my snap on scope has record function and you can pause and scroll thorough elapsed time.

Please note OBD 6&14 are not used on BMW and many others they are open. If you have a comm fault and are checking 6&14 you'll waste hours. Ask me how I know LOL

Well I notice that with signals as fast as this one all snap on scope can see is a one screen! Very lame! Info is good! Scope not!! Get a Pico and see this signal or saved for 10 minutes! How can you catch a glitch if all you can do is save a screen on 100 microseconds? I think snap on has to step up with the quality of their scopes!! To expensive for what you can do with it!

Agree completely. A real scope this isn’t. Then again do you want to drag a Tek DPO or an old 2247 into a garage environment? Not sure what to recommend here.

I'm pretty sure on the snap on scope you use the record function and then pause and you can scroll from left to right to review captured data over time.

Yeah who wants to buy an expensive scanner with a bunch of key chips that can be lost or quit working or who wants to pay the exorbitant price for software updates. I’ll wait till someone’s sells something at a reasonable price that covers all models of cars before I upgrade. Poor suckers that are being fleeced out of their hard work and profits.
