to me the cut of it make it looks as if your pointing your foot down and squishing the back of the collar with your ankle, but I can get over that. the second problem is the material choice, I’m okay with suede but I hate newbuck and it’s on a lot of mud and lows which ruins solid colorways imo. my final and biggest gripe is colorways, most of the time theyre pretty weak and uninspired. also if there’s a solid mid colorway there’s gonna be a better looking high

Since he brought up the straps, I’d like to mention that I used to rock the one high straps in the black and white color way and let me tell you, without the strap they were straight HEAT 🔥 they looked like the yin yang black Jordan one ogs, and it had the Jordan jump man on the back but it was black so it didn’t ruin the look of it or made the shoes look cheap. Picked them up for like 110 and they were a great purchase

Compared to High OGs, the mids will never exceed expectations. But of all the Mids that have come out, this one is the best one in my opinion. The leather is tumbled on the toe and heel which you don’t see on most Mids if any. Best Mid so far.

I've never minded mids since my first introduction to them was before I would even consider myself a "sneakerhead". I had one pair but just couldn't rock them because the materials would be so poor/stiff that the toebox material would pinch down on my toes when I walked in them. I had a pair of mid before and I bought these bred mid last month. The mid sole of these are so thin, hard and stiff that they are a lot more uncomfortable to walk around with compared to the pair I had bought four years ago. Plus not having leather upper like the older pair makes them even more uncomfortable. One day I walked in these for like 20k steps according to my phone, and it absolutely destroyed my feet. I feet was never that sore when I walked similar distance in the old mids. Now I strictly wear these to lift weights just bc they offer some good stability. Also, the red on these mids are a lot brighter than the OG bred, which in my opinion doesn’t look as good. Not saying nobody should get them, but just temper your expectations.
