The Varsity red 12s = for sentimental reasons I love this shoe in this colorway because he wore it against the Sonics in Seattle. He scored 45 points including a half court shot at the 1st quarter buzzer.

The Cherry Red is a special one to me personally (upper left corner @ 4:50). He wore this colorway when he came back to Seattle in 1997 to play the Seattle Sonics. It was on NBC. I remember leading up to the game, Sonics coach said that MJ was relying a lot on his pull up jumper because he wanted to preserve his body from physical contact. Of course in true MJ fashion he took it personally and scored 45 points on the Sonics using lots of jumpers. He even made a buzzer beating half court shot at the end of the 1st quarter. I honestly thought MJ in 96-97 was the best version of MJ during the 90s. More savvy. Still in great physical form.

I remember telling my coach the sole of our team shoe Nike air max was coming off so I would just have to wear my personal shoes. Everyone goes nuts over the Kobe 5 and 6, but the last three signature pairs didn’t get much love. Only Jordan's I ever wore were Jordan 1s to skate in back in the 80s (Bones Brigade wore them so we did too).but everytime I went to the United States for the next 20 years I had to pick up pairs for friends back home. Sneakerheads get pissed when you can't find their size. Cheers, great video
