I had two pairs of these back in the day. I destroyed one playing outdoor in the Marina in S.F. when I lived there, so I decided to buy a second pair for indoor gym. I actually copped a third pair for casual use. These, as you can tell, are my all time favorite shoe! Great review, keep it up!

I remember walking in the store and grabbing these. My classmates and the whole hood was practically at the mall that day. A guy in a wheelchair and his whole family had gear and pairs on. Later that day, people was at the skating rink all had their pairs on.

I bought the 2003 slightly used for the same price not too long ago. They are some serious tanks. I hope to own these in the future but my money is going to those metallic 5s... I must own my favorite Jordan of all time.

The stitching on the side panels on the white and reds are closer to the OG’s that the stitching on the playoffs. It’s very noticeable there the first lace hone on the front of the shoe and the back the stitching supposed to start by the O on the Jordan tag while the playoffs starts by the J which is not correct. The part that they have never gotten correct on any retros of this shoe is the mudguards supposed to have a higher cut where it meets the plastic Jordan tab on the side. You can look as pictures of the OGs to see the mudguard cut isn’t the same on any retros

Was not planning on getting these, but i was vacationing in las vegas. So instead of shoving $20s in slot machines, decided to cop my wife and I a pair. Lucked out on the the last pair that finishline had which was a 9 1/2. And footaction had full GS sizes.

Really nice review, as always. I'd like to get these, but I've purchased 6 pair in the last 6 weeks. That's not a good ratio when you're on a teacher's salary lol Plus, I doubled up on the low 2's last weekend because I've been slightly obsessed with the 2's since 1987, so as much as it pains me to, I've decided to pass on these.
