Got em in hand. Best shaped 4s since the 99s. They feel lighter to me as well. These, the cements 3s, and those supreme low sb’s coming out are in my top 5 so far.

It bugs me when people start talking about sneakers being the sneaker of the year when we are not even half way through the year I always think that’s something that shouldn’t be discussed until at least November or December cause u never know what shoes will release

The reason for the suede mud-guard is because it is a lot more durable for skating than leather so it will hold up better to the wear of flicking the board a lot more than if it was a leather mud-guard. That would've worn out in just a couple skate sessions

as a certf'd 4s fanatic, the say the 4SB will be at least top 3. the 4s to me could do no wrong, but (this is just me) the upward curve that happens in the front of the sneaker always bother me. With SBs they seem to flattened it more and made the bottom of the sneaker more linear (which i love)...my fingers are crossed Nike, Jordan, SB, who ever releases a Black Cat version of these SB 4s....

If it's a good thick suede it's actually good for ware and tear suede doesn't Rio apart and cut as easy as a regular leather it's actually a good move for skateboarding it will actually last longer then a smooth leather.more scratch and cut resistant it almost kinda self heals it's self skate shoes tend to have a suede type leather around d the toes. If it has a good thickness of leather it holds together really well.

These still kill my pinky toe. Only the right one 😅 Wore casually three times and no lie, not really comfy in the fore foot and toe box. Ankle area felt great tho and it's definitely more plush.

@@Merkadius No lie, the break in sucks. I wore them to the office yesterday and my feet were sore especially my pinky toe. I ended up taking out the insoles for the extra room. I changed to a random new balance insole today from my 1906D and it feels better.

Bro knows nothing about skateboarding. Suede sneakers are some of the best because the leather fibers are loose. The grip tape doesn’t shred em down so fast compared to full grain leather which has a tight grain that rips with ease. That’s why suede used around the toe. So they last longer while actually being used to skate in. Plus suede can be shaved if it does get far to “hairy” for you.
