Air Kenya showing what real flying is: 5Y-BMP is seen operating flight P2-851 from Nairobi's Wilson Airport (WIL) to Ngerende Airstrip in the Masai Mara range. 5Y-BMP was built in 1982 and is still in excellend condition. The flight took place in April 2011, showing the first of four legs on that day.

same here, my house used to have the best view of the approach and runways of both wilson and jkia! airplanes fyling around was second to nature for us growing up!

At some point on this flight, you flew right over my neighborhood! I know this plane only too well from ground level.

the elevation of nairobi is quite high. that means you usually hit dew point temp not far up in the climb. hence, the low cloud base most of the time

in kenya the cloud ceiling seems very low. i always wondered why? quite different than flying in NJ/NY Area.
