Dan, this is a truly great two player game. This would probably be in my top 3 two player games with Hanamikoji and Jaipur. I picked it up at the end of 2020 and have been playing it quite a bit. It does reveal itself over several plays which is why I keep coming back to it.

I feel there are much better games already present in this genre - Lost Cities, 7 Wonders Duel, Mandala - This looses its stem against such gems. No doubt It is a Good Game but there are Great Games already present on many shelves.

I love all those games you mention, but I still think this one holds its own.
