My very first flight to SYDney was in a 747..most UNFORGETABLE IN EVERY WAY! She is indeed the QUEEN ! She EMBODIES everything a PLANE should be. I hear many airlines are retiring their 747's at the end of 2020.

Absolutely - and you're very fortunate to have flown on a 747! Qantas were going to retire theirs by end of the year, this whole pandemic has sped up that process for a lot of airlines around the world unfortunately :'(

Still love the air pacific. Back in 2005 I came from nadi to Auckland in this air pacific 747. They use to call You island in the Sky. Love it. But saddly missing it.

Oh awesome! These were beautiful aircraft to see at the time. I like the new Fiji Airways livery but the old Air Pacific was so vibrant.

Absolutely, both this version and the standard scheme were great. The Fiji Airways rebrand is also quite nice, if not as colourful though :)

I've been to Fiji (so I know the holiday feeling) but never flew with Air Pacific/Fiji Airways. Kinda wish I did - but there's always next time I guess :)

Yes, it will be on a new aircraft type for them :) . I have the same problem as you with them haha, I always caught their 752 back when they had their one and I only caught 763 once but not a good shot :(

Ah right, on their A330's? Are they even due to get those yet? I've had reasonable luck with Air Niugini, non-winglet 757, wingletted 757 and their 767 have been captured :)
