Thank you for this video. The whole video was helpful but especially the part on removing the air line and the using the clip to help remove it. I was concerned about breaking the clip or the air line but it did eventually come out like you showed in the video. I have a 2007 Sequoia with 184k miles, and still going strong. Thanks again.

So for the install of an air bag. How do you get the air bag to collapse on itself so it looks like it just came out of box? My was crooked blowing up with air so we stop and let the air out of the bag, now it is released from the bottom bracket and fully extended.

This worked great on the GX 460. All the videos for the GX 470 are a dead end, the very first step in all the videos for the GX 470 is inapplicable to the GX 460 (i.e. removing the clip via the gap in the frame via wheel well, in the GX 460 the gap is far too small).

OMG! I bought a 2010 and once and a while the compressor won't come on. The only fix I discovered was to disconnect the battery, but that only worked 60-70% of the time. Can't wait to try the brake tap 8 times and restart the car! So much easier! You just took a major frustration out of the equation of my 165,000 mile beast. Any ideas how to reset the laser cruise control without turning the car off for 5 seconds?

Is there a switch you have to flip before it is put up on a lift like in the Lincoln Town Car? Those cars have rear air suspension as well and there's a switch in the trunk you're supposed to flip before lifting. I'm not sure what happens if you don't flip that switch before lifting, but I suspect it's something bad because there are warning labels galore reminding you to do it.

Perfect, thanks for the reset procedure, scan tool wouldnt read any codes, no active test, or special function for reset. After reset compressor threw 4 codes 2 were current and unclearable. Low battery voltage c1876 blown 50 amp fusible link. $20 special order part

2004 sequoia, thank God for regular shocks and springs, had a caddy with bags ,deleted everything and put coil overs, never liked air bags.

Thanks for the video. Trying to make sense of the air suspension system, pretty dumb with car stuff here. We replaced the rear shocks in our 2012 Sequoia Platinum recently but now the dealer says the compressor and air suspension springs/bags are going bad. They want thousands more, if we switched to coils would the money we spent on shocks have been wasted or can the shocks stay in place while coils replace the air bags?

I have a 2011 platinum Sequoia and had the same issues you are having. There doesn't seem to be a viable option to switch to coils due to how these were designed. I ended up having to fork out the cash for the factory replacements.

My compressor won't reset with the breaking method. So the only way to reset is with the scanner?

@@sweetwaterapiaries1205 bro I managed to fix mine. The rear air suspension pump solenoid wasn't working properly since there was a block. I managed to clean it and fix it. It's working now. So check the air pump.

Clearing the DTCs using the SST check wire. SST 09843-18040 (1) Using SST, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3. (2) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. (3) Clear DTCs stored in the ECU by depressing the brake pedal 8 times or more within 5 seconds. (4) Check that the height control manual indicator lamp shows a normal system code. (5) Remove the SST check wire from the DLC3. SST 09843-18040 HINT: Disconnecting the battery cable during the operation will not erase DTCs in the ECU
