Im a retired welder and there is no better feeling than taking junk and creating something out of it. Then seeing the look in peoples eyes when you show them what you created from junk.😎👍. I made a sign for my shop that says "No, I won't make you one"😁

Awesome comment!!! I couldn't think of a better shop sign... haha. I get asked a LOT to recreate things I have built out of junk.

Happy to see the retired welder didn’t gripe about bumpy welds, about to buy a flux core welder to chop away at my list of small weld projects I hope to manage. Thanks!!!!! applause !!!! for step by step on (how to) 1st. Is a rebar stand to support a grill grate for cooking hot dogs over open fire (coals) . 3 yr. old grandsons request after doing marshmallows In front of chiminea last week. Good excuse to eat hot dogs and finally get a welding machine 🎉🎉

I'm laughing out loud, here I'm like, that's a job for a plasma cutter and at 2:20 here comes the plasma cutter! LOL. How do you forget you have a plasma cutter! haha! I need to build one of these, what a great project. Came out great.

Good question... I still don't know why I didn't go straight to the plasma cutter. Thanks for watching Craig.

This is exactly mu style, I don't like taking a bunch of measurements, trying to fit the degree of angles, but that's because the majority of my projects only need to function good enough, and so far most of my little inventions and projects have worked perfect and stood the t-o-t. I cant remember the last time I went to the hardware store to buy a material or part, being a horder myself including tools, but if I need it I can almost always just make it out of what I have on hand instead of going and buying something to end up I. The garbage cause let's be honest, shit is made to break these days.

Was the 3 inch pipe enough to create a good draft? Or would you go bigger after using the stove?
@yourbeekeeper2 жыл бұрын
Hey Ryan... go bigger. With the amount of fire you can make in this tank, a 3" pipe was not enough to get a good draft and there was always some smoke that would come out of the door. I have a follow up video uploaded where I upgraded to a 4" diameter and it works perfectly now. Here's the link to the follow-up video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3m1ompprZKSaaM

What is that welder that you are using?
@yourbeekeeper2 жыл бұрын
It's a Century welder that I bought brand new in 1993 and it still works amazingly well. Century made awesome equipment. I still use this welder and I have Century plasma cutter and vehicle battery charger both made in the early 1990's. Lincoln welders bought Century at some point and shut the brand down.

How did that dirt get in the tank, air and water does not have dirt.
@yourbeekeeper Жыл бұрын
I suspect the tank had some type of lining to prevent corrosion that broke-down over time.
