Just gonna add somewhere around the light novel it was mentioned Aira was also very dependent of her parents. Like she didn't question their decisions and she was used to being spoiled and being lead by adults. She also not very good at saying what she wants (then again she's too young and most probably don't know what to do thus she left the adults around her choose for her), never disobeyed adults since she's used following others, she never said no to the Prince. Sei also mentioned that from what she could graphs Aira's habit needed to changed soon or else even in adulthood that habit of hers would cause her to be indecisive or easily swayed/manipulated by others. Sei being the adult and noticed how young Aira was, wanted to help her and didn't want her to be too dependent of others. Idk why they tried to make the Prince a "selfish yet admirable guy" in the anime like bruh nah. That ain't working he was a very immature guy. Period. Trying to sugarcoat his stupidity that lasted for like the entire course of the story with "that just that kind person he is" or "he's not that bad he save aira". It just feel stupid. Like justifying that its okay if he favors people that are good looking and treat like trash the people that doesn't match his standards. Even if he tried to save Aira's image in the anime, it does nothing his habit of judging people by their appearance. And I hate the fact that after the entire serie he didn't learn anything and that the other characters try to excuse him with "he's the Prince, it's normal" yeah I get but when normal is bad, shouldn't it be changed?. In the novel / manga, he never apologized and he never even bother knowing Sei since she looks like a servant.

If there's any consolation for the side of decency, at least even after Kyle's "punishment" (which doesn't feel like one), majority of the community still dislikes him and that's enough cope for me lol

@@AngeHikari yeah. Honestly how the anime portrayed him as arrogant yet charismatic person it just feels strongly forced and odd. not sure... like the anime tried to make him likable but at the same time didn't. I'm glad the community didn't fell for that narration.

@ In terms of wholesomeness, he sticks out like a sore thumb, so yeah, no way on earth he'll be liked for disrupting the peace that was meant to be in this series, then again, his actions are less of his fault and more of the writing team's (hard to blame a supposed "bad" guy when he can only act based on what was written for him in the script) All I'm saying is, if they wanted Kyle to be the "arrogant, but gets redeemed later on" kind of guy, they could have written him better, but alas, it is what it is

the prince in this series should really join the trio of saintly stooges from the rising of the shield hero as a quartet group of stooges for their combined behavior.

i doubt that there was anyone that was summoned that wanted to leave their original world & live in another world willingly at all.

This anime is the ultimate you can't judge a book by its cover.

I won't go as far as calling the anime as the ultimate "you can't judge a book by it's cover", but I do agree that it is one example of it

@@RAN20097 Ahh, understandable, your initial comment had me thinking you're referring to the show as a whole, but yes, thanks for the clarification
