About the One Consideration.... You can take out the Kick using its volume knob - then the side chaining effect remains. Also, you can do the same thing in other instances with side chain (I for example use Ableton, you can side chain from a kick pre mixer, then the kick mute won't mute the side chain signal) - it depends on where the side chain signal is taken from (before or after the mute/volume knob)

Yes they could change it just with a software change. They could make the out to sidechain be pre fader and pre mute. It's a simple change that would fix it. @@LiamKillen you don‘t choose a source because the sidechain has its own triggers. You can assign, wich instruments are affected by it and it has a dedicated button for how strong the sidechain is acting. You can also choose several release times and behaviour styles. @@cresshead come on dude, you have korg volca for that at less than 100 buck for sh. With a volca sample and a volca beat you have a mini studio right there, in the park.. The fact that you CAN'T chain patterns its literally outrageous
@adelinrapcore2 жыл бұрын
@UCz9ClJrjuztSZP-mLQl42dA you can chain patterns on volca sample.. don't get me wrong i think they are nice little machines but ffs, what would have been the cost to make them able to chain the god damn patterns!!?

hi liam how do u change from sawtooth to square on the bass
@LiamKillen2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good question you might have to menu dive to find out whether or not that’s possible.

Awesome! It's me or the kick is like interferes the bass? It's like the volume bass gets low when there is in the same step with the kick.

No pattern-chaining for the T-8? Real songs need more than just 32 steps. That's very disappointing. Even the original TB-303 & TR-808 could chain patterns, and they were released more than 40 years ago...
@LiamKillen2 жыл бұрын
Yeah hopefully they implement that or something

Use Sidechain with Reverb on this beast and its fat like hell.

Yes. I ducked the reverbed bass. It has this deep breathing bass like Benny bennassi in satisfaction.

These sound great, but wow, Roland is still putting these awful displays on their stuff. Even some of their flagship stuff has this type of display. Roland is a huge company they could totally afford to do better. See Elektron; often Roland’s stuff is in the same price range, but Elektron just smashes Roland in display/User interface.

With small laptops more than powerful enough these days and roland cloud I have no idea why you'd bother with small VST boxes like this anymore. Hipsters tbh
@LiamKillen2 жыл бұрын
Working in the box vs having hardware DAWLESS controls- it’s really not the same. DAWs are infinitely more powerful for sure but it’s just a different experience. Lap tops are also much less reliable on stage.

I've got both and they are a great combo since you can record audio from T8 to the 404 via USB-C
