This was the first anime I've ever seen, and as someone who doesn't cry in movies, I shed a tear when she did for the first time. And this song is one of the few works of music that touches me every time I hear it. Thank you so much for this cover.

The lyrics “ one single bird flying high,as it sings goodbye…” and the lyrics “I had the chance to meet someone like you.” Those put me into tears,I was a huge fan of violet evergarden cause I understood how she felt losing someone the basically was her entire life,my grandmother passed away and she was the only one there for me at the time cause my parents worked a lot, so I was really close to my grandma,how she felt about Gilbert her love strong love for him is how I felt cause she was like a mom to me and when she passed away and I couldn’t even say my goodbyes it destroyed me I feel into that dark place violet was in,the place where you don’t even wanna be alive anymore but like her I found why I have to keep moving on,it’s for my grandma sake,all I have to say right now is thank you so much for this,I hope everything in your life goes how you wish for it to go.
