As an older video man I would say the quality has been EXCELLENT, AND I would would also say that the recent ones are still spectacular! Only that the airguns used are now are incredible custom pieces of kit able to shoot at extremely long distances... Still, one must always stop to think and realize the amount of experience gathered from Matt is immense! In all of my air gunning years watching Matt has been, basically the most unique hunter/pester I've EVER come across! :-) :-)

I thought for sure you would have been using your AA s510 .22. I Use mine AA s510 .22 carbine thumb hole 60-70% off time, for ranges of up to 70 yards, (and beyond) I like the compactness of a carbine. BUT my FX 500 this is my sniper gun. .25 hits really hard, drops everything in its path. I guess I am pretty lucky here in in California, no pellet or power restriction. I use mostly mil dot with hold over, Some day I hope to have a cheat sheet for turret clicks. Great job on the videos, by far you are in the top three. Tim from across the pond.

This is really beautiful country side, as you have said. Excellent shooting too,..well done. I could easily take a half hour video of your pigeon 'cull'. Although I'd guess you would be very tired if you had to make that length of production. Therefore I will watch whatever you send. Cheers and thanks very much.

Matt, I was so looking forward to seeing the ultimate sporter in action, maybe next video. You'll have to get used to the difference in trajectory now, good luck with the new learning curve.
@AirArmsHuntingSA10 жыл бұрын
Hi Thomas. I'll be back there soon with the Ultimate Sporter, and the trajectory is actually pretty similar because both my .177 and .22 are shooting at the same velocity. The .22 has a slightly flatter trajectory because of its ballistic coefficient.

How many shots per fill does this rifle give? Do you need to refill during a day of hunting and if so, do you use a tank or compressor?
@edgarlombera70669 жыл бұрын
Altogether it can give you about 100 shots at its lowest setting, 45 good consistent shots at half power, and about 25 good at full power. Regardless of the setting it'll waste the same amount of air each shot, but the power knob is what will control the amount of air the valve will let through into your firing port. Tank, pump, and a special compressor is needed to to fill it up.

Saw you on air arms TV looks like your coming up in this world. So what do you think about the .22cal FAC?
@AirArmsHuntingSA10 жыл бұрын
I love it! I still have a special place in my heart for the .177 but I can't see myself ever letting the .22 go - It holds its accuracy at long ranges way better than the .177! Can't wait to see what the .22 does to pigeons at these ranges:)
@redneckbennett197310 жыл бұрын
When you step up to a .25cal the power that hits your target/prey. They have guns reaching out past 75-150 yard still hit with authority.
@AirArmsHuntingSA10 жыл бұрын
Ryan Bennett South Africa has no power restrictions on air rifles, but we have caliber restrictions which means I won't be going past .22 unfortunately!

Hello! I need a capital information. I have seen videos of hunters hitting their target with a zero calibrated scope with a wind that I estimate between 8 and 12 mph . I don't understand why, despite such a wind that makes the tree branches blow, despite the fact that they didn't use the wind and distance settings that should have changed the zero, they hit their target. I used their parameters in a ballistic calculator with the mark of their scope, it should not be able to reach their target at zero point. Explain

How do you adjust your scope soo good? mine is 1/4 moa pls help i have trouble understanding that
@Sneak_10008 жыл бұрын
+Mustii If you do not understand all the instructionvideos out there, the easiest way to get the hang of it to go to the range. Put up targets at 5-10-15-20-25-30 yards/meters and so on to the maximum range you want to shoot at. Now, bring paper and pen. Remember your sight in distance. lets say 30 yards/meters. Now, wright down all the yards/meters on a piece of paper in a row, so you can wright stuff at the side of each number: 5- 10- 15- and so on. Now start shooting with your gun zero at 30 or whatever. just note that on your piece of paper at whatever distance your zero at. If it's 30, wright down zero after 30. Take 3 shots at each targets, keep filling your gun up if it's getting to lower preassure so you're on your sweetspot all the time. Continue shooting till you're at your last target. hopefully all your shots are on target, if not, get a bigger piece of paper as target so all your shots can be seen. After all shots are taken, start from first target and hold dead on target with your crosshairs. Count the clicks it needs to go to get to the group you've shot. Wright it down behind your yard/meter marking on the paper. I hope I made myself udnerstandable. English is not my native language so there may be some spelling a grammar issues, but I hope you won't chop my head off for it.
