hey i fly from san francisco , to hong kong, then singapore (on 777) then singapore to kochi on silkair (a320) this summer, it is a 20+hr flight time with i think 8 hr layover at singapore. It is going to be a great flight. You should come to america one day when you get the chance.

there is also a route (for you) kochi-dubai (in 777-300er) then Dubai to san francisco (non-stop in a380!) you should take one of these two routes and come to america :)

This ticket is actually a combined itinerary to Kochi, so it was less than a S$100 for the whole trip! I'm not sure how much the trip from Penang to KL will cost alone. Probably not that expensive I would say
