AirAsia Flight Review : AK5206 Kuala Lumpur to Kuching by KonstiYH

In conjunction with the 13th Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) held from 26th-30th March 2013 in Langkawi Island, Malaysia, KonstiYH Flight Review would like to dedicate this video to all Malaysian and the dedicated work force behind Malaysia's very own no-frill airline - AirAsia. I am proud to witness AirAsia's incredible journey of success and would like to congratulate them for being the Best Low Cost Carrier 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012, as voted by Skytrax aviation research organisation.
I recently had the pleasure to experience the inflight services onboard AirAsia's Airbus 320-200 aircraft on one of its most popular domestic route from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Kuching International Airport, Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo. AirAsia was founded in 1993 by DRB-Hicom, a Malaysian government-owned conglomerate and started its first flight on 18 November 1996. The heavily-indebted airline was then taken over in December 2001 by Dato Tony Fernandez for RM1, with RM40 million worth of debt. In just 11 years, Dato Fernandez has transformed Air Asia from a small airline with only 2 aircrafts to the largest low cost carrier in Asia with a strong fleet of 120 A320s and another 355 aircrafts on order. AirAsia together with its subsidiary Thai AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia, AirAsia Japan & AirAsia Philippines currently operates more than 140 routes to 78 destinations throughout Asia.

I am really glad to hear that, I wish all Indian citizen could afford to fly more now just like Malaysian with the expansion of AirAsia into the Indian subcontinent. I am sure this move will enhance the bilateral relationship between Malaysia and India in the very near future.

AirAsia X flies wide-bodied aircraft - Airbus A330-300 for the long-haul flights depart from Kuala Lumpur (KUL). You will expect a denser seat configuration of 3-3-3 in Economy class or if You are flying in the Premium Flatbed, 2-2-2. Basically I find AirAsia and it's subsidiary AirAsia X are both providing adequate services to the flying public. Very often You can grab a low fare if your travel dates are flexible. I wish You a pleasant flight with AirAsia X and a lovely time in South Korea.

You mean the first part of the soundtrack? That is the Democratic Action Party (DAP) theme song for the coming 13th Malaysia General Election. This song is recorded in 4 versions; Malay, Mandarin, Tamil and Dusun languages. But I only use Mandarin and Malay version respectively in this video.

+Daniel Marcello yes Daniel, they are the theme songs of the Democratic Action Party for the 2013 Malaysia General Election Campaign, first in Chinese version (Ming Tian; means tomorrow) and then in Malay version (Ubah; means to change).
