Good review. Nice to hear regarding them being chill about both luggage and outside food, something which I've heard Scoot (low cost carrier for Singapore Airlines) is a stickler about. While you didn't mention it outright, I imagine that booking a Quiet Zone seat, while a bit more expensive than a standard seat may very well increase your chance of getting no one next to you, with most people who want to fly as cheap as possible just opting for standard seats. Unfortunately even in full fare carriers, some of them now charge for seat selection just like the low cost carriers.

Thank you! You could be right about the Quiet Seats giving you more chance of a seat next to you. I didn't hear much noise when I entered the general economy space to be fair, but didn't think of it from a spare seat perspective. There weren't many spare, and most of them were in the Quiet Space!

Air Asia is a great budget airline, occasionally they will dik u around during a layover such as delays & gatechanges but I have always found them to be professional in communicating information
