Hey Modern Jam, can you do a video explaining how Russell Westbrook often has a teammate have a career best year with him as there teammate? I will leave some examples I am sure I missed some 1.Bradley Beal career year with Russ as teammate 2.Paul George on OKC, Career year with Russ as teammate 3.Kevin Durant only MVP with Russ as a teammate , 4.Jokic is currently having his best year as well with him as a teammate Would highly appreciate a video like this , thank you Also Chris Paul falls into this category I think. 😂 I think some of his teammates had a career year with him as well

I think the thing people fundamentally misunderstand that Russ and Murray are not actually in competition with each other. Watching the most recent Clippers game watching Murray set the pace for our offense and Russ set the pace for our defense was great. Jokic, Murray, and Westbrook are all very cerebral players and MPJ is getting a smarter and more well rounded game. I still believe.
@dragicaandrejevic206012 күн бұрын
Last night, after two games of break, Jamal M. took a lot of three-pointers, 2 of his 5 attempts. MPJ scored 3 points in his third game, 2 of 7, and all three of the last three games, 3 of 17. Elite shooter MPJ - that's what the coach says about MPJ. In the 60th minute, the MPJ-JM tandem hits 4 three-pointers out of 12 attempts. Such forwards would sit at the end of the bench of most NBA teams. This game was won by young players from the bench and their selfless defense. Look at their defense - at the score 0-2, MPJ raises his hand and looks at the crowd. Jamal M. stands on defense where Jokić should be and Jokić runs to the point of the point guard - funny
@kraff298812 күн бұрын
@@dragicaandrejevic2060 Yes they’ve been under performing for most of the year so far but if you were actually watching and paying attention then you would know that yes, MPJ had a BAD 1st half. And at half time the game was either tied or within 3. But MPJ came out and got like 2 3s, a fast break dunk, found Jokic on a cut leading to an easy basket and then got a crazy put back dunk off a missed Jokic shot all within the first like 6ish minutes of the 3rd quarter . MPJ was the reason they really took off in the 3rd. Then some of the young players just played the rest of the game cuz they never lost the lead (which is very unusual.) that the nuggets already had when they came in. Jamal made a few very good defensive plays while Russ was very obviously leading the team from late 3rd and throughout the 4th by good passes and great defense and the rest of the team was riding off his momentum. This game specifically was a terrible game to judge just from stats. Also MPJ has been missing his 3s lately but he’s absolutely playing good and showing improvement at everything else. Especially attacking the rim and actually making some good passes. He’s basically shot atleast 40% from 3 his whole career on a lot of TOUGH shots. His shot will come back. As long as Jamal starts playing better and the team as a whole stops playing terrible defense they will be fine. I do still think they should look into some trades but as long as they’re healthy they are gonna start winning a lot more cuz their best shooters won’t keep shooting so poorly for ever.

If Denver wants another ring then there must be no competition but full cooperation among the players, then they will be a big threat to everyone and be the most serious contender for the championship.

I heard some say jokic has never had a superstar as a teammate but Westbrook is one he is just at the end of his career. They have their hands full trying to beat the cavs or Celtics but it’s possible if they find a team chemistry that’s top notch.

It’s so much more fun watching the Nuggets now with Westbrook alongside Jokic. Two superb passers. Westbrook is like a mini Joker. Jokic does the wtf did I just see passes and Russell does the bullet did I really see that passes. And I’ve never seen Joker dunk so much feeding off Russell. Jokic is now being fed by someone who can see the floor and the opening.

love r-dub, but i think he could improve his layup efficiency - get those eyes on the backboard n hold them a split second longer - he tends to watch the defender with his front vision - learn to use ur peripheral vision.

Denver fans just aren't paying attention to the actual results. Yes, the Nuggets are a healthy +5.95 when NJ and RW are on the floor together, but that's RW pulling NJ down. The Nuggets are a whopping +16.33 when NJ is on the floor without RW. When RW is playing without NJ they sink to an abysmal -23.91. Heck the team is at +0.78 when neither plays, so RW's impact is catastrophic. He makes a good team a disaster, and an incredible team merely a good team. It's downward influence all the way. You guys will figure it out and change your tune on RW, or else you really are the dumbest fans in the association.
