I’m looking at getting an airboat soon. Seen a lot of deals on just the hull and cage .. debating on a 350 small block or 350 big block. I can get either at a reasonable price. What’s your opinion? I live in Florida too and I want to explore the withalachooee river soon

@@Whalermansteve84 so it all depends on what you wanna do if your wanting a cruiser boat and just a 2 seater ride boat go with a small block but if your wanting a boat to haul more people and have a little extra I’d go with a big block there’s no replacement for displacement personally Id go big block cause of where the motors like to turn rpms in a airboat the max your prolly gonna be turning is 6800 rpms, small blocks are happier around 8,000

Yes. They are usually used as work boats for the pipeline and electric industries. They can carry a lot of tonnage. The largest I ever seen was about fifty foot long and about 25' wide. It was a two piece boat that shipped on two semi trucks.
